Sherlock Holmes

As you probably know, or might learn from the short story “The Sign of Three,” I, John Hamish Watson, have become engaged to the love of my life, Mary Elizabeth Morstan. For some time now, I have been quietly observing the great Sherlock Holmes as he attempts to solve new cases without my help, relying solely on his brilliant mind. I must note, however, that my assistance was simply irreplaceable to him. This raises the question: who will take my place at the side of the brilliant Sherlock now that I have decided to trade a life full of wild and exciting adventures for the comfort of family life? Sherlock himself realizes that he needs a new partner in crime. He has therefore decided to gradually invite brave candidates to his office, where he will test their detective skills. Who knows—maybe you'll be the one who manages to solve all the mysteries that the cunning Sherlock has prepared for you in his study.
